I didn't start going till 08 - and even then I went on a whim.  It is, hands down, the BEST DE ethnic festival.  I'm a weirdo (according to my friends) and go during the day on Saturday, and leave right as it starts to get dark.  Usually at that time it's not too crazy and everyone is still in good spirits.

I always do whenever I see that anyway, so no worries!

Agree, actually.  I like to ride it out till 9/1, anyway.  Then all the fall things can happen.

Has to be returned in 30 days, can only get store credit, and there were a bunch of other bells and whistles that I'm not remembering very well.  Oh!  They recommend you do NOT take it to a FedEx drop box location because they might not pick it up in time, which bothered me for no reason other than what is the point…

Typing isn't any easier, that's for sure.

I gave one of my friends a box of Triscuits for her birthday.  She really, really likes Triscuits.

Trudging barefoot through deep mud, and then was bitten by a snake.  Then a friend I haven't seen in ten years said we should go to the gym, but only hit up the smoothie bar, where you hand-picked the fruit to be used in the smoothie.

I am seeing Vampire Weekend on 9/19!  And then shortly after will be attending Delaware's Oktoberfest, which is so, so much fun.

11 days till I can buy DFH Punkin Ale!!!!!!!

Neither of those stupid dresses I bought on ModCloth looked good.  And their return policy is pretty annoying.  And also I think I'm too late to return them at this point.

I annihilated my elbow on the corner of my desk this morning.

Ireland has some damn good cheese.

That sucks.  Two of my favorite flavors and they RUINED IT.  Balsamic is actually pretty tricky when it's being used outside of dressing.

Wednesday is always my most productive day of the week.  That way I can coast till the weekend. I'm actually doing a bunch of phone interviews in between comments today. And also sending emails. And IMs. And trying to train our new hire. My brain is tired.

Japan is pretty much my Ultimate Destination at the moment.  And it has been for a long time, actually.  Details when you get back - how exciting!
