"I love you. You know that, right?"
"I love you. You know that, right?"
maybe it's not that deep? Maybe "Blood must not have blood" philosophy was only a plot device? They needed Lexa and Clarke to stay away from Arkadia/Pike/Bellamy for a few more episodes…
Nope. 2016…just go away, please.
that's really good to hear! Will probably watch the second part of the season after s.3 finale. But recent episodes provoked so many frustrating emotions in me, that there was no point to continue. I don't do "hate watching"!
"It seems people are inventing criticism of S3 just because Ships they want aren't happening."
haha, true, after all, she wasn't in Arkadia
I needed a break from this show after ep 309, but I saw you comments on twitter Kyle and just wanted to say that - yup, this is sth that bothered me for some time now and your review explains this very nicely.
stopped watching during season 2, but damn! WTF!? What is going on with tv these days?
I have no doubt that Lexa's death would always end in tears and drama. She was after all a popular character.
Stop it! Please! I hate this show. lol
"fans didn't see the writing on the wall the minute Lexa didn't take blood for the massacre of Trikru"
ok, I'm not saying this is not true, I don't judge. But God…this is a very dangerous territory. This is not some silly game where people can drop random info on the internet "there were two suicides". Yes, The 100 writers were playing some irresponsible PR games with their fans, but I would like to believe that the…
well, I see no lies. (unfortunately)
The fact that the writers were divided whether or not to kill her, suggests that they had other options.
Yes, it's interesting what you said about the plot (and depressing at the same time) because they sacrificed integrity of so many characters for this crazy plot!
haha, yeah. The girl needs a break. Not forever, obviously.
I followed JR on twitter for few weeks in November 15. I stopped because I honestly thought he was unbearable with his "shipping" tweets. And I'm saying this as someone who adored Lexa and her dynamic with Clarke.
I agree with (almost) every word. I saw on twitter some writers (not from The 100) were in a defensive mood: "that's ridiculous, we can write whatever we want".
I miss those days too, but like I always say: what's in the fandom should stay in the fandom. Showrunners and tv writers too often "break the 4th wall". And I think that's what happened here.
I think the problem here is that… TV most of the time doesn't treat those characters as the long term storylines. They are guest stars/"guest storylines".
