Just watched this episode again for the 11th time. It somehow gets better every time. And I just want to point out how amazing Nick Offerman's performance is. His performance as Ron is staggering in it's simplicity and nearly floors me every time I watch it. One part in particular I've caught from multiple viewings is

A TV show that can create suitable story lines for it's characters and then adequately weave them together! What a gem! I expected more from these guys. What a letdown.

Don't think I saw it anywhere in the article or comments but am I the only one that's pretty sure april is pregnant? Those felt like mood swings camouflaged as career doubts, being boring, etc. and that eventually they'll realize it and become okay with being boring because it means they're gonna be parents. Anybody?

And then my favorite when Winston revealed he'd actually been turned on by gas mileage: "It was a Thursday, that's all I remember." "A Thursday…?"

Goddamn. What a beautiful episode. A+
A—Friggin'—+(Plus)!

Great episode. And Gina's precision when opening the gift was fantastic. Did her nails remind anyone else of Sweet Dee's nails when she got them done like "Flo-Jo's"

I love Valerie (Kudrow goes without saying she killed it) but honestly I think Paulie G knew what he was doing. After seeing the dailies Val took a nose dive. She's great, she's just needs to stay out of her own head! Props to Mickey as always

Loved this episode. Incredibly sweet and sorely needed Bob Jr. Bob Senior story. Also, he's more bean than Gene!!! And bob senior loves Scandal

And then to the fantastic closing credits sequence where Linda's mouth is slathered in chocolate.

And don't forget Kumail Nanjiani who I think was the voice of the third cook who won! So darn likable I really do hope he comes back.

It sounds cheesy but it's really nice to see some genuine appreciation & and sentimentality here. So I just wanted to say thanks, Sean!

I agree in regards to the NY season feeling a bit off. And if I had to assign blame to one of the areas you listed it would definitely be the writing. I'm almost positive LD relinquished the majority of the writing that season to his former Seinfeld cohorts Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel. I think the trio
