Exactly. Who is the target audience for a show examining the "philosophy of morality"?

Comparing Gossip Girl to Breaking Bad is unfair (besides insulting the latter), as the 18-49 demo needs to be split into male and female audiences to make sense. The 18-49 male group has Sunday night football to distract them, while a majority of GG's audience is likely to skew female.

I don't know if it was planned, but Sitwell as a rival to Lucille 2 ("Stand Poor") was just one of those hallelujah moments for me.

I agree with LloydBraun - as much as I love this show, I would actually like there to be an objective discussion of how each episode fared (in terms of plotting, moving the story forward and whether or not it was out-and-out funny).
