See also The Pillow Book.

Yeah, whatever the central, antelope-like animal is, it most certainly doesn't look like a predator.  Maybe it had to eat meat because Robin Pecknold won't share his apples.

Exactly!  The scene where he walks her to the door was completely unrealistic. That is something a character who wanted something romantic to happen would do.  Adam's character would have waited outside in the car and watched to make sure she got into her apartment.  Insisting on walking her to her door was completely

O R they?  Yeah, Rushmore is a fantastic movie.  This horrible character is no Max Fischer.

Hey thanks!

I agree.  I'm very surprised by the praise for this episode, and I usually really like this show.  I did enjoy the Amber/Max parts, especially the Clinton teachable moment, and the Crosby/Kristina interactions were good.  But so many terrible, cringeworthy scenes…

Yeah, she's into Television and the Cramps but is unfamiliar with the Talking Heads?  Come on!

I had the same thought about Homeland Security being alerted immediately if ricin was mentioned.

Great.  Time to buy a vest then.

Agreed.  The Up All Night world would have been a little more realistic socioeconomically if they hadn't turned Ava into Oprah.  I really wish they hadn't done that.

Agreed, I really like Arnett & Applegate together, and I enjoyed the pilot much more than I expected after reading this review.  But I'm already annoyed with the over-the-top Maya Rudolph character.  I'm afraid that change was a bad decision…

Isn't this more like 40somethings working their way back into the dating scene?  (30something still in the first round of dating scene gazes at shoes…)

Wow, that made my day. Thanks for posting, Corey!

Whew
I was worried that Tom quitting was a way to phase Aziz Ansari out of the show, but it sounds like we'll follow Tom and Jean Ralphio's venture in season 4.

I enjoy scholarly pursuits.
Chickens don't clap!

Yeah, let's forget that happened.

Yesssssssssssss!
Good thing I don't have a life to interfere with this.

Hard to Explain. Barely Legal's pretty great too, and I have a soft spot for What Ever Happened off the next album.

@Wallflower—yeah, definitely. Maybe more like the saddest line ever.

Agreed, it's great as it came out with Amy's improvisation, but I'd really like to see that mural.
