Except for Phil and Luke and Manny.  Gloria is a shrill caricature, unpleasantly reminiscent of Lucille Ball.  Cam and Mitchell are not only getting more effeminate (especially Cam), but it's impossible lately to imagine either one voluntarily spending five minutes with the other one, let alone a lifetime.

I think "the film’s significance cannot be understated" doesn't mean what Scott thinks it means.

I know nothing about /Conan/, but in /Moonlighting/ (TV series) it was so that they didn't need both the starts on set at the same time.  Bruce Willis could shoot his lines while he back of Cybill Shepherd's head on camera was actually her double, and vice versa.

I can't believe the low ratings from the reviewers and most of the commenters.  I would have given this a B+ (and in a minute I will). It wasn't perfect, but I was watching the show alone and laughed out loud probably half a dozen times  I almost never laugh when watching a show alone.
