Okay maybe, but Tig being wild and necrophilic and unstable is another one of the plot devices that was put in play season 1 and then never fully realized afterwards. Hell, Sutter has left us to assume that Tig is a sociopath. I have seen little that he has really done to back that up.

There were some surprises, but mostly it followed form. I like how Clay looked like a lumbering monster through the whole thing. I have bitched about mopey Opie since. His first scene, and he did not disappoint.
The violent scenes were solid, I thought. Tig in the rail yard was awesome.

I have been watching the show from the start and I know I will hang in to the end, but I am not expecting much.  It is one of the best of the B-tier shows but there have been so many false promises and missed opportunities.  The season 4 finale was frustrating and wholly unfulfilling.

I am twitching with excitement over the the return of this show. AHS delivers in such a batshit crazy way that it is addicting.
I hope they keep the callbacks to classic horror and other weirdness.
