Or a film that doesn't quite live up to the series it came from.

I like your comment best. I know this has most likely made your entire day.

Yeah, I know . I guess the question I should have asked was why both series and film aren't both called Firefly.

Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal

I've always wondered why the series is called Firefly and not Serenity.

Continued my Buffy rewatch. I'm on Season 2 now, watched Phases last night..

I like Happy Endings, but not as much as I think I should.

I like the Everybody Lives episodes. Smith's are noticeably smaller scale than "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances" and "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead", but I think that's part of Moffat's plan to scale back the renown of the Doctor

The missing pirate was just a continuity error, I think.

Indeed. I like the way they embrace Christmas and not treat is as an afterthought or just a background to the action.

Technically he already has a family travelling with him. The Ponds and River. I don't think I'd want a quarter/third of a season with kids in the TARDIS.

And I'd just like to make an obvious point here, it's not either/or, you can love both portrayals.

I think you're right with Troughton. Just look at Global iPlayer's description of Two.

I also think Matt Smith is the best Doctor. He is the most fun (like this

I can see a lot of hate coming this episode's way in the next few hours. I quite liked it though. One thing that didn't sit right was the story of the husband following her home during the courstship. Seemed creepy to me.
