That's, like, your opinion, man. (And a perfectly valid one.) Obvs. Killer Mike's album is in the running for best hip-hop album of 2012 too, as is Big Boi's, imho.
El-P has categorically stated that he'll have no involvement in any future Can Ox work, so I wouldn't waste any money on this. If you want to keep real (by 'real' I mean 'totally awesome') hip-hop alive then I'd recommend buying El's Cancer 4 Cure album - best of 2012 by a long shot.

Can somebody explain who the fuck Swedish House Mafia are, and why they and Black Keys are ABOVE Refused, Mazzy Star, Amon Tobin, Cat Power, Pulp, EITS, M83….?
For some reason I can't reply to your post,

I stopped buying this 'nicest guy in rock' crap even before I stopped buying his boring-ass records. Anyone else, or am I the proverbial one-eyed man in the kingdom of the middle of the road rock music?
Yeah, right here.
Dad's Army!

I've just been totally traumatised by the ending to The Shield. This also coincides neatly with watching Time Bandits earlier, and being baffled by the death of the kid's parents and sudden ending. I came to this discussion way too late.
What about the voice of Geddy Lee? How did it get so high? I wonder if he speaks like an ordinary guy…?
Word. If they play 'The Pod' and/or 'The Scientists' then I will totally shit a brick. Not that I'll know about it, because I'll be on another continent, quietly resenting everyone there.
