So the most mature people are those that have read the most books? There are enormous amounts of people that exist that are mature that haven't read copious amounts of books or really any at all. You are correct maturity has a definition, however that definition is not dependent on how well read you are or what you

He doesn't hate it all, he finds that there are a lot of redeeming things that came come from TV and Pop Culture. He really appreciated the Simpsons because they were challenging. He didn't just sweepingly generalize it

And he had the gall to cite DFW in his argument against it. Its like he has never really read DFW but know he is "adult" and "intellectual" and so he has to like him. Being an "adult" has nothing to do with the pop culture you consume, and frankly it is more than a little childish to assume that like "sophisticated"

Not only do I listen to music based off of the season but often I do so by the time of day. For example the new Bon Iver is definitely a morning album while most of the National's discography would be evening listening. That being said here is my breakdown of some of my favorite music by season: (quick caveat - I feel

That is one the reasons I rue my young age. I was merely a freshman in High School when he passed away and didn't get a chance to discover him until I was a freshman in college. While his music has had a huge impact on my life I still wish I had be old enough and aware enough to appreciate him when he was still alive
