I dunno.  I don't think that CK would have had him on his show or anything after that if it hadn't been a joke.  That CK wouldn't have 'got' and maybe laughed at.

In the interview above, he seems to be reasonably candid for a working actor.  You hear all sorts of empty 'this guy was great!' stuff that they want to use so they don't piss people off and lose future job opportunities (see Fred Willard interview last week).  He didn't consider bullshitting when he couldn't remember

I will always remember this guy as being Mel Gibson's verbal foil/beatdown provider in Payback.  I thought he did an excellent job and wondered why I didn't see more of him elsewhere.  Come to find out he was on the WB and on other shows and movies I didn't watch.
