Eh. I'd say that everything north of Kingston is upstate, but some places have more specific names - like Western NY for Rochester and west, and the North Country starting somewhere in the Adirondacks. So "upstate" wouldn't be wrong, but it's a little vague.

Oddly enough, the second time I saw TMBG there I was hugely disappointed. It was the 20th anniversary of Flood, so they played the album front to back. I'm not sure if the predictability of the set was the problem, but there was a distinct lack of energy. Very different from any other time I've seen them.

I'm only familiar with two discs - Deserter's Songs (which has Hudson Line on it) and All is Dream. They're both great.
