Damn near the album-of-the-year, so many great lines. "Fire scientist / MacGuyver my appliances".

I don't think Gordon's lost any mojo. "King Of The Ants" and both his Masters Of Horror episodes were fantastic, and "Stuck" and "Dagon" were pretty good as well.

Oh man, rarely do I meet another fan of The World's Greatest Sinner. Manipulator, you get my first ever "like". Don't spend it all in one place.

Seriously…narrowing 69 Love Songs to 20 tracks would be like pulling teeth. The whole thing is essential.

Love "The Killing". Timothy Carey is unforgettable in the live-wire role.

There was much, much more wrong with The Green Lantern than just a crappy lead performance,@avclub-292cdeba8144fb121619c52840aa1ce9:disqus.

I absolutely adore this album. This is the only review I've seen of this record that's anything less than glowing, too.

Yeah, I have a lot of love for "I" and "Distortion".

If you'd heard any of his projects before, the answer is pretty much "everything, with tin pan alley influencing it all".

Hahaha oh wow. You're probably the most pretentious person I've seen on the internet. That's quite an achievement, congrats.

I love how GhaleonQ totally glosses over the fact that he didn't even read the article…it's literally filled with references to the writer's past and current status as a gamer.

I'd also strongly argue that Ralph Bakshi (who directed "Cool World") is pretty much the definition of an auteur. "Heavy Traffic", "Wizards", "Fritz The Cat"…it's not his fault that the studio took his original concept and ideas and warped them until they were something totally different.

So…when does this damn thing air?
MTV2 doesn't show it in the schedule anywhere, did it already air? But today would be the "end of the month", yes? That Das Racist interview sounds great, and seeing Pinfield again would be a nice nostalgia kick.

People have a problem with the way Brick is shot? Aw man, I think it looks gorgeous. It's not shot exactly like how a classic noir is…but then again, this isn't a classic noir. It's a fresh spin on the genre, so the cinematography is going to reflect that (as well as the AMAZING minimalist score…super effective).

With you behind me I'd have to tie one eye up watching both your hands, and I can't spare it.

There's apparently an Irish singer-songwriter around my age with the same name. This wouldn't be a problem, if I wasn't also myself a singer-songwriter. Hm.

Yeah I've been reading King for about 20 years now, and I've gotten quite used to him not being able to end anything satisfactorily. It's more about the journey than the destination, anyways.

Asher Roth's debut WAS terrible, and he fully admits that. Which is why in the years since he's went more underground and honed his lyrical skills on two great and well-respected mixtapes. This joker above me, while his intentions are good, is just posting his early, sub-par stuff. This song fucking rules:

So, "Under The Dome".
I'm a huge King fan, but haven't been able to get into a novel of his since "Cell" (and before that, not since "Dreamcatcher"). But what's the consensus around here on "Under The Dome"? The plot was very intriguing to me.

She sounds more interesting because she got beat and rides on airplanes? You're an odd one, lobsters.
