When "The Roost" was first hitting small theaters around, I street-teamed for Ti West just on the sheer quality that I saw in his first film. Audacious and brilliant. And once I met the guy, he couldn't have been more kind and appreciative. Not to mention wonderfully film-savvy…we must have…

It's not just a painting, it's a painting of the entire goddamn town ENCASED IN WEB. The movie is cheesy and over-the-top in all ways, but that ending is still unsettling.

I've seen Ms. Grant pop up in the oddest places, and am always impressed by her performances, but wow…what a fascinating, intelligent, witty woman she is. Fantastic.
