Yeah, that really is a retarded marketing strategy. Instead of sticking with the effective original poster (http://tinyurl.com/kmjgkq), they changed it something much more silly (http://tinyurl.com/lh7dej)…. making a spooky little zombie flick look like, as you said, Bats. Sigh.

Nitro Circus is on MTV2 though, a much better channel than it's namesake. Though they still show reality crap filtered over from MTV, they also Fantasy Factory/Rob & Big, two shows that you wouldn't expect to be hilarious, until you actually watch them. Not to mention the reruns of The State and old Liquid Television

Oh man, he's just the best.
Not only is he intelligent and realistic about the industry, and his acting roles are memorable and numerous (Broken Flowers, Session 9, Mulberry Street, The Roost, etc), but he really does have a distinctive look and feel to the films he's directed (Wendigo is one of my favorite horror

Another sign-on that the remake was pretty great.

PLEASE!…TAKE! MY! HAND!

Erm, Jai Ho?

I, too, enjoy hearing Harrison Ford read a script at gunpoint.

As if I needed another reason to love this Warren Oates fellow, he references "The Burning"! One of my earliest film realization moments was watching that as a teenager and recognizing the name Tom Savini from my favorite horror film at the time, "Dawn Of The Dead". It suddenly dawned on me that there were specific

"Saw"?

Just to piggyback on the Carpenter fellating, the ending to In The Mouth Of Madness is another wonderfully downbeat "…or IS IT?" horror movie endings.

What a stooge.

I'm enough of a Morrissey fanboy that I'd genuinely like to hear the story behind this.

I love this album.
Only really sort of liked their first two albums, but this one immediately grabbed me. "Dance Little Liar" is a monster of a track.

Is that "ethnic anomalies" quote real? Jesus Christ, and some people are still defending this guy?

Didn't hear anything about it, gonna tune in now.
I, too, eat stuff like this up. Thanks for the heads up, Van! (That's your nickname, btw).

Or Wolf could just get his hair cut by Jens' holy barber.

" Don't even joke about that shit, TomWaits. That's fucking horrifying. "

Just the best.
Saw him live right after The Magic Position came out, and the only other person I've seen command an audience so perfectly has been Jens Lekman. Wolf was lumbering his 6'4 frame around in tight white spandex shorts, covered in glitter. Oh, and there was 3 wig changes. Fucking magical.

Despite iffy reviews, I'm still super excited for this.
A lot of my favorite Gilliam films got torn down by critics upon release. Tideland is the first that comes to mind, what a odd little masterpiece that is. The man never disappoints, even The Brothers Groom was goofy fun…not to mention a joy to look at, like all

She's 29, and he's 40. Not that big of a stretch, methinks.
