Apparently he's written 17 books. I've only read the one but it was really good and the man is a legit climbing/mountaineering legend. There's an appendix in Everest the Hard Way That's a a gear list for the expedition which is awesome to pour over

I'd also suggest Everest the Hard Way By Chris Bonnigton. About attempting to climb the South West Face of Everest which is substantially harder then the traditional route. He is the leader of the expedition and it's a fascinating look at all the decisions that going into an undertaking that large and dangerous
