Well now you're just trying to hard to troll

You gave one example out of 1,000's of movies being made and said it meant things were getting better. When the research clearly indicates that females are still vastly under represented in film. How about we shoot for a high percentage of females in lead roles say… 50%?

I think you meant. "I think the way women are portrayed in movies is fine, there for this is a non issue" There are lots of other people who will strongly, and quite rightly disagree.

It's also hard for them to have a choice in seeing movies with well developed, well written female characters because as you'll note in the article. THEY AREN'T GETTING MADE VERY OFTEN. So yes a lot of women may want to see Magic Mike… but when you're choosing from almost all male dominated movies of freaking course

Ah the ole "Here's one example of a good thing so everythings fine now" argument. That ain't how it works

HE'S ON TO US *Wheelies out of the room while wearing skinny jeans

you realized that if we constantly pointed out that "We shouldn't care about that at all because there's this worse problem" We'd never solve any of those problems right? Also there's a few billion people in the world. So of us can care about this issue, while you're feeding the poor hamburgers.

And it surely doesn't mean it needs to be the primary focus of female characters in films.

And some starving people are getting stabbed to death, why care about just normal starving people!

Usually I pretend the cat is actually a ghola Duncan and warn my friend to be careful he doesn't stir his original memories. Good times

What!? I'll just bunny hop into the caverns, wheelie into some lizard people, tailwhip over a few more, then grind on my pegs to escape! No need to summon the Angels!

Yeah I'm with you here, creating a balance between the two is good. I like learning about things I'm interested in sometimes and I also like spending hours lost in a story. So to hear someone say she "never reads fiction" short circuited my brain box.

A friend of mine has a cat named Duncan Idaho. Which means I get to make endless Dune jokes about the cat and it makes me fantastically happy

All of the music from Predator is on my "inhuman monster hunting" playlist

You can fool them… for a time. By then you'll be deep in their underground caverns that criss cross the globe connecting to different capital cities and strategic locations. It will be to late for you to turn and run when they find out you aren't a lizard person then..

I still own most of the Dune books! Well the Frank Herbert ones, not the crazy ones his son wrote.

Oh yeah I've seen that more than a few times in the wilds of internet dating. And on Friday I had a date with a women who said she never reads fiction, which made my brain hurt.

As long as the boy band Coal Mine song is featured I can die happy

Oh you're the "head writer" all right…

Thank god that no one has shut down the "15 Seconds of Predator" account on instagram I follow.
