Maybe it will just be endless scenes of politicians and celebrities posting incredible sexist, racist, dumb, factually wrong things. Then cut to their press conference where they are surprised they got caught and/or that people are offended

I hope he does come out with the "it was performance art" excuse if only because it will be entertaining to see how he phrases that statement. And by phrases I mean, how much he steals from someone else to make a "point" or some other such nonsense.

I think that was the point, you weren't supposed to believe any of that crap. I think it was more a movie about how obsessive people get than a movie about the "truth behind The Shining"

Hmm I had not considered that actually. Mayhaps a likely reality is there will be a slight downturn for comic book movies. Or maybe not a downturn, but a run of really crappy ones, then another resurgence as another round of punk kids start buying crap and a group of well done superhero movies comes out.
