Bob's ratings were always bolstered quite a bit by the cushy spot between The Simpsons and Family Guy, so yeah, I think it wasn't hard to see the drop coming.

Yeah, AD definitely didn't run there for years…it got kicked there for a bit in season 6 and again this season cause of Cosmos. And if I recall, it performed quite bit better than Bobs did in the same spot.

FOX already threw one of my all-time faves to the curb (although fortunately it got a second life), and if they get rid of Bob's Burgers their only two good animated shows will be gone, so, yeah, that would suck for them.

You're contradicting yourself a bit, because you claim it's a one-of-a-kind experience, then say that anyone can do it. Well no, if it's one-of-a-kind that means no one else has done it. And apart from a few movies, like "Gravity", I'd actually say that's true. Sure he was very technologically focused on making this

Good night of misdirection humor, with both this joke and Steves lotion.

Yeah the Beanie Baby gag was one of my favorites. Love it when Stan gets all goofy and excited over something so silly.

I've been listening to "Is She Hot Enough" quite a bit…goddamn that's one hell of a vocal performance. That whole song is just amazing.

The writers apparently find it hilarious though. They turned Brian into a complete racist asshole when he used to be just straight-up a cool motherfucker in the early seasons who liked to dryly and sarcastically comment on the ridiculous things Peter would do, and otherwise just chill and drink a martini.

I also do a good Roger: I like wine.

Poor Steve…always so close but far away. Whether it's a numb arm, a crack-addicted father, coming home late to missing the strippers living in his room (giving us like the greatest Roger line; I made it rain, made it rain, made it rain on dem boys!), or now only being desirable because he's presumed dead. Poor guy is

Yeah, I mean it's American Dad. so there are certainly a few funny jokes. But I dunno, I just think the original "Tearjerker" is such an original (at least as far as Tearjerkers scheme) and spot-on Bond parody that's just absolutely hilarious and features what is easily one of Rogers best performances. Basically, it's

"Can I Be Frank (With You)" is merely alright, but it's hard to hate it cause it contains the great B12 song. But that's what I'm saying though the early run of season 8 episodes wasn't that strong. I think the line-up of "Steve and Snot", "Poltergasm", "Buck, Wild", "Crotchwalkers" is definitely to superior to last

Yeah, the family has always gotten annoyed at Hayleys extreme left-wing tendencies, particularly Stan. Never once have I felt she's been a "Meg-like" character though who only exists to get made fun of and have jokes at her expense. Sure sometimes she disappears for a while and the writers seem to forget about her,

Agreed man, this is vintage American Dad. The nonstop excellent comedy alone in this one immediately gives it a B+, but the awesome story, solid satire, and legendary Roger persona made it an easy A episode and a contender for the seasons best episode.

Eh, I dunno, the shows never been too grounded, but I'd agree it was more so earlier in its run. But you know what, after writing a show for almost a decade, it really can't be that easy to come up tons of new and creative plots, and I assume it's tempting to go for some really out there stuff (like Roger and Steve

Eh, don't be so surprised, a lot of people dislike "Avatar", it's pretty divisive movie. Plus you know, major success pretty much guarantees you boatloads of internet hate.

The Transformer movies B.O success really can't be compared to the likes of "Avatar" and "Titanic". Those shitty Michael Bay movies just have massive first weekends because of, like you said, brand name recognition, and the big shiny trailers. However, once people see them, word of mouth generally spreads that they're

I think they warned for like brief nudity or some shit, but I could never see jack.

Oh definitely, you could say it was a game changer in filmmaking from a technical side. Cameron straight-up had to invent a new type of virtual camera system that allowed him to shoot CGI heavy scenes like live-action (he could basically see rough pre-rendered CGI in the monitor of the camera, basically like looking

Well no argument there…physical effects are in many ways superior because, well, they're real. Just compare say, Carpenters "The Thing" to the remake from a few years back. And think how fucking realistic and creepy the Alien Queen was in "Aliens"…you would almost never see something like that these days. But at the
