Yes, for me, the series was never really about Fry and Leelas relationship. Sure it anchored a handful of great episodes, but most of time it was relegated to the background and ignored. I appreciate why they went with such an angle for the finale, but I would have preferred a little more time spent and perhaps

Don't know about top 10, but it was comfortably better than 99% of the CC-run. Probably top 25 for me, and my only real complaint is the relatively thin characterization of Fry and Leela. Not that it's a big deal, but Futurama has painted them pretty complex before, so in that sense it was a little easy.

But at the same time, unlike FG, Futurama got almost all of it's original writers

I don't think it's entirely fair to make that comparison. Futurama declined WAY quicker than The Simpsons, which got to almost 200 episodes before the cracks really started to show.

The last few episodes were mostly good, but that's probably because they saved the best for last. The first 9 ranged from OK to awful, about on par with every other recent season.

Don't think it quite tops "Devils Hands", this lacked the subtlety that really made that one so damn memorable…in fact the ending to this one is about as blatant as one can get. Thankfully it was handled well, but I still think "Devils Hands" is the more suitable finale to the tone of the show. Even when Fry and Leela

I really liked this exchange…

Surprisingly gory episode by Futurama standards. Thankfully it was legitimately funny, something that's missing all too often in the CC run. Fry had the line of the night for me…

Well, it took quite a while but we finally got another series great (alongside "The Late Philip J. Fry") that can comfortably take its place in the pantheon of classic Futurama episodes, and it couldn't come at a better time. Consistently funny, clever, entertaining, and heartwarming, with a fantastic sci-fi conceit

Oh…what other shows haven't you seen? I desire more of your insightful contribution.

Seriously, why the hell does FX even need two networks? They had a good thing going, now moving a bunch of shows to a completely new channel is just annoying. Was FX so overstuffed with original programming they had to split into two?

I just kinda figured this was for live-action only. If were including animation then obviously The Simpsons deserves spots for multiple seasons, a couple seasons of South Park, seasons 3-5 of American Dad are gems and pretty near flawless (although season 5 is most deserving of the spot), season 3 and possibly season

Eh honestly the show had a good run. This season has probably been the weakest yet so I'd rather see the show go out with some semblance of quality left then become another Simpsons.

Parks and Rec season 2 >>>>Parks and Rec Season 3

I'd say this was one of the lesser episodes of the show.

To be fair, this was certainly underwhelming after the masterpiece of last week. It felt very padded, which is fine because Breaking Bad padding is still riveting, but with so few episodes left it's a little disappointing. Plus, Jesse willing to team up with Hank leaves a little to be desired, but it looks like thanks

You didn't see those Dawes tickets on the dresser?

Even better, a nuanced discussion on the virtues of child poisoning.

Yeah, puke is never funny at all, I don't get why *vomits*.

That seems odd, considering season 1 is largely the odd man out of the Simpsons run in it's tone, humor, and characters (at least in the classic years). It's in many ways like a different show then what comes after. It doesn't start hitting it's stride until 2, and even that season (and 3 also) has a different feel
