I watched his Star Trek movie reviews today and I realized that my taste in comedy has changed greatly in the past few years because I somehow used to find his schtick funny.
I was so ready to defend against the people complaining about the use of women that it didn't even occur to me that I'd have an issue with the only black character being a "streetwise MTA worker" while the 3 white women are all PhD's
Ethel ?!?
Hey, maybe this has been discussed elsewhere, but what happened to this week's American Crime Story review?
Sokka/Suki is truth
Relationship. It's abbreviated because….thats just what people did when the internet first came about.
It is sorely lacking the Talking Heads' 'Heaven'
Like most Darin Morgan episodes, I loved it in a what that it made me laugh and question my existence at the same time. It's kind of hard to comment on something I so unabashedly enjoyed.
At this point the biggest news story of the decade will be whoever uncovers who @dril is. So far all I can tell is they they are likely an actual graphic designer from South Jersey
I went to a Late Night taping years ago and Abe Vigoda walked out for some bit and all he did was walk across the stage but people went crazy for him, it was fantastic. They clapped more for him than one of the other guests that night, Donald Trump.
If i ever re-watch the series I'll be skipping that one. The only one I saw that simply grossed me out too much, and the scene you mentioned isn't even the worst IMO. The liposuction sucking out guts, laser burning through a woman's face, woman having her face melted by acid, woman throwing up a huge amount of needles…
That would be this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…
After Scully's dream sequence for a moment I thought she was sitting in a therapy session and I was instantly reminded of Hannibal
Much better than last night, but still would've been a mostly forgettable episode in the original run. I'm glad they are still making sure the show is as gory as ever, although they could probably have gotten away with actually showing that doctors eyeballs exploding based on how much violence other shows have shown…
The clips of Bush during that made it seem like it was from 2007
Boy, Mulder sure did decide to throw out 50 years of his personal beliefs really quickly huh?
Please save Robert deNiro
At least we got the 'Year in Band Names' in December instead of in the middle of April like last year
