"Which one is the slap?"

The subplot of Bob's knife is kind of worrying to me that the show is losing touch of the fact the family struggles financially. Normally such a big expenditure would be more of an A-plot issue (Linda calling it a car-payment was a nice touch though). I'm hoping Bob basically letting $300 worth of equipment get

A lot of that series hasn't aged well. Check out the ending to Brave New Metropolis which is so oddly edited and abrupt I actually laughed at loud.

Bomani Jones was able to coax Darryl Dawkins to admit he thinks Stevie Wonder can see since he started calling him "Chocolate Thunder" without knowing he was black

Its fascinating how ugly X-Men is considering it premiered after the comparatively beautiful BTAS. The animation is no better than most mid-80s GI Joe cut and run jobs and the character designs aimed for realism and landed on ass

Nice N pick with NGE, maybe this will spur someone to give it TV Club Classic reviews (although the last anime reviews for TVCC went pretty badly)

"Season two of The L Word is a great movie"

That Night Man clip gets an extra layer of comedy when you realize Frank looks like he's dressed as Spike Spiegel

This is the Mark Millar-iest ending I've ever seen

Stop adapting Mark Millar

I'm assuming Gargoyles reviews will start again once JLU is over?

I stand by my avatar

I just want Brianne and Jaime to meet back up this season

Ok so I apparently lied because Tai/Sora was definitely my first ship (before I knew what that was) and them never getting together fucked me up

Sukka (Suki/Sokka) is the first time I ever got into a ship and I got that ship right so I'll defend it until I die

There's a commercial for Helix on the radio where someone heroically says "We're the CDC! We don't run from anything" that makes me laugh every time

I've actually got the entire series on my computer but the main setback for me is the timing of my job. That timing could be changing soon though so I might try and start them up again sometime this year. I guess I'll have to move them over to the Gargoyles reviews if i do since JLU is almost done

Very nice to see the AV Club has never and probably will never solve the problem of autoplaying videos

I got the book a few years back but I'm just getting around to reading it now. I've never been more enthralled by people talking about cable programming deals

I think its the magic known as living in a different time zone
