David O Russell is on an absolute roll after Nailed collapsed during production, and there are far fewer accounts of him being a dick to his cast compared to his first few movies

I've never seen the show but it seems harmless in its pure show form and toxic in all the ways it's being exploited for cash grab merchandise.

It is arguably the largest drop in quality from source material to film in movie history.

I should at least finish season 5. Thats the last one before the movie, which doesn't appear to be on netflix, which would give me an excuse to go on an extended break

I've seen plenty of bad movies late night on tv or just watching Netflix with friends, but seeing a bad movie in a theater, that cost you actual dollars that you worked hard to earn, is a special experience. Of the top of my head, the three worst movies I've ever spent money to see in a theater:

They are one of the prime examples of television homogenization, channels that used to have a strong identity are all pretty much the same now with a mixture of "real America" reality shows and ill-fated original productions (Discovery, TLC, History, A&E, Lifetime, Bravo, etc.)
