THIS WEEK ON SUPERMAN:
The Prometheon
Speed Demons

Great to finally see a really well done story centering around the Green Lantern

Harvey Birdman remains, on a laughs per minute ratio, the funniest show adult swim has ever aired.

Korgoth still only has one episode

I'm 23 and looking back tonight its weird to think how much of my high school years were spent watching Adult Swim. Staying up late on Sunday nights just ain't the same when you aren't constantly worried about waking up to get ready for school the next morning

FlyLo!

Really hoping they didn't put the scene where kindergartners get gunned down in Kick Ass 2 in the film version

This'll be a fun comment section

World War Z anthology series is now impossible due to several factors

I should note that that was my freshman year and my grad year was 2012 if it makes you feel any better(itdoesnt)

Hope there wasn't any poison ivy in those woods

I think he got violently run over by a train.

There aren't many times were I am really pulling for a film to crash and burn horribly even in the months before it's released, but this is one of them

The first thing that came on TV when I finally got the cable in my dorm room working was a CNN report on the death of Don LaFontaine. I wasn't particularly saddened or anything, but for some reason this moment has stuck with me and will stick with me.

Christ…

I'm actually really looking forward to the Kerrigan/Harding one. Of the announced 30 for 30s coming this fall a lot seem to be focusing on more low-key subjects like surfers and such, but I am always surprised by how eye opening those can be.

Apparently Daft Punk did not realize a contract they signed with MTV stated that their only TV appearance this year had to be a surprise showing at the VMAs:

This seems like the kind of film that's going to garner a lot of critical praise in like 15 or 20 years when it is rereleased on whatever platform is popular at the time

@avclub-91546109eaf110327d50b0955865712a:disqus I actually considered pointing it out this week, but I figured it would be kinda useless since I know I'll already be going into detail about it once I get to her actual episode

She is voiced by Sarah Douglas in the next episode Mala appears in, Absolute Power. This episode, as I pointed out, has her voiced by Leslie Easterbrook aka Sgt. Callahan from the Police Academy movies
