Every week I try and keep it under 800 words and then Monday morning rolls around and suddenly, boom, I've gone a bit too far.
@avclub-146bc30c345d31f3468fec764a1970e1:disqus I'm gonna be doing all 2 parters as one episode, so for instance next week will be Stolen Memories as well as Parts 1 and 2 of The Main Man. I also wont be covering the World's finest crossover save for a few words on it. So by my count it will take 23 more weeks to…
Chaos at Earth's Core and Hunter's Moon are the only other two I can outright say I don't like
@Generic Poster summed it up perfectly last week, saying that STAS never hit the highs of BTAS, but it never hit the lows that BTAS would sometimes fall into.
I think this is arguably one of the most lackluster JLU episodes, possibly one of the most boring in the entire DCAU. I think the fact the casting is far more interesting that almost anything that happens on screen is very telling.
Time for another round of Superman The Animated Series roundups. This week:
The Bay is the only found footage movie that works for me
Bo-ooks?
Instead of Miami Vice (which is probably the most intriguing one here anyway) how about Hotline Miami comics?
Did anyone else here happen to check out Strip Search? It was a reality web series that followed 12 webcomic artists trying to break into the industry with Penny Arcade. Probably the only reality show where everyone was likable
Those are some white-ass crackers
The "Bat Embargo" was, I believe, due to production of animated series "The Batman"
I wish the DCAU crew got more opportunities to work on adapting stories written by Moore. Too bad stuff like the Killing Joke would have been far too dark to fit into the DCAU.
Time for the next two episodes in our look back at Superman The Animated Series:
I like that the Pixies are putting out something new, but this track would probably rank among my least favorite that they have ever done
I like a lot of Dippold's Parks and Rec episodes and she's a Rutgers grad too, so I figure I'll be giving this a shot
You have no idea how much this compliment means to me. You do some of the best review work on the site and your review style has a huge influence of the way I look at shows.
Other candidates for best episode are next week's For the Man Who Has Everything, The Greatest Story Never Told, and anything with The Question
