I re-watched a lot of the first season of Digimon last year and it ranges from pretty entertaining to a complete slog to get through. Everything in the arc where they find themselves back home and suddenly having these massive Digimon battles in Tokyo is worth watching though.

If I had to choose someone from the original series that would be Amon, going by how long ago that took place, my bet would be on the kid that was the son of the farmers in Zuko Alone, or the baby whose parents we kept on seeing in various episodes as everyone traveled through the Earth Kingdom
