That was the only scene I found truly repugnant.

Damn, I've gotta read that. I read All The Pretty Horses three years ago and loved it. Meanwhile my copy of The Crossing has been collecting dust since last summer.
Of these I've only read Blood Meridian. The other five are now on my long reading list, though.
WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY ABOUT MURDER, SHE WROTE?
At Jon Snow's "death" I didn't experience even a fraction of the emotions that the Red Wedding stirred in me.
Thanks!
Finally saw Age of Ultron, which was a lot better than I expected. Watched the sixth season of Community, which was weird-just so-so for much of it, but, I thought, great in its home-stretch. Now I'm halfway through season two of Veep. On the music front it's been a lot of hip hop, although I'm listening to Braid…
I missed Jeopardy! Thursday and Friday, because I'm finally employed, but I have to stop by and applaud your efforts.
I recommend MF Doom to anyone looking for music, particularly of the hip hop flavor.
Good pick, David!
Well, nothing can REALLY be erased from the internet.
I just watched it in time for Civil War (and well after the hubbub has died down), and I thought it was fucking awesome.
Great. So when the fuck do we get new episodes?!
DAMMIT.
Dammit.
*Geraldo bolts*
Totally. "Chris Hardwick: Fun! Comfortable!" Makes more sense.
Maron's gonna love this!!
I remember that they pulled the original Gangster Squad trailer pretty quickly after the shootings. Apparently not fast enough to spare you.
I wasn't into blockbusters or superhero movies at all until I worked at Century Theatres from 2011-2013. That changed after I saw The Avengers (which I was sold on as a big Buffy and general Whedon fan) and, a few months later, The Dark Knight Rises. (I HAD seen and liked Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.)
