There's a difference between head laughter and soul laughter! This episode emphasized the latter over the former. Sure, it might not be audible laughter…but a kind of laughter it is nonetheless. (Unless you don't think mute people can laugh!)

I'd suggest picking and choosing from the necessary season 1 episodes in order to get people invested. Some of the first half can be skipped without missing anything.
