Did anyone record Possession off TCM when it played who has the ability to burn a copy of it? It's getting released by Mondo Vison sometime later this year but, I would love to see it again in the meantime. If it's possible for someone who recorded it to burn me a copy, I would pay you or trade you something, or draw

Let me apologize in advance for how long winded this is but, I am just trying to be helpful

Oh. . . my. . . god. Where is it playing? Please tell me….please?

You asked him about Posession, In The Mouth Of Madness, and Even Horizon, and those my three favorite roles of his, so I'm happy. Sam Neil is an amazing actor and this was an awesome Random Roles.

Megan Mullally is very funny when she's given good material to work with. Also, she's cute, has a great personality, and a pretty sexy voice (I guess what I'm saying is I am a fan of her as an actress and I think she's really sexy/beautiful). Also, I can't believe she's as old as she is, she easily looks at least ten

When it was released uncut in the states it was still under the title Dead Alive (although I've read that it's still missing a few minutes that are present in the european 'Braindead' release but, most of the gore is present in the us "uncut" release under the title Dead Alive). The worst thing about the censored

If Dead Alive had been done as a straight horror film, then the level of violence, all the blood and gore and dismemberment, it would be too much for all but the hardest of hardcore gorehounds but, because it's done as a campy, over the top splatter horror comedy, it's much, much easier to take.

Ay dios mia !

What would you know? You're just a Stupid Girl !

She definately comes across as honest, down to earth, and just plain likeable all around.

"Well, that’s okay. Because, y’know, I was only 22. Trust me, the boobs were looking good."

Yes, you are the only one (actually you probably aren't but, you are certainly in the minority on this site). Home movies was one of the few shows that me and my girlfriend loved equally, and we would watch it any time it was on, no matter how many times we had seen the episode (I still need to get it dvd but, I have

(I'm replying to your earlier reply here, since the thread in question closed)

Yeah but, at least Lommel made one decent film in his early years. Tenderness Of The Wolves, starred Fassbinder regular Kurt Raab, as a gay, cannibal, serial killer who kills and then eats teen boys he picks up at a a train station, sharing the meat with this weird group of "friends" that he has. It was actually

Stories involving river gods/forest spirits/magical curses/young witch girls/magical flying forest creatures, dragons, magical house/castles,  movies that comment on the magic of the natural world and man's raltionship with it, or use fantasy elements to comment on a young person coming of age, those aren't interesting

I'm glad to hear that this is good because, after seeing the trailer i was worried it was maybe going to be like Earthsea (which I couldn't even finish, it felt like a generic, imitation Miyazaki film). I'm definatly going to be seeing this in a theater, as it's coming to my local indy/art theater next month I

"season two of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills was one of the most important, morally complex, thought-provoking bodies of work I’ve ever seen on television"

The above is a sentence I never expected (or wanted) to read on avclub. If I wanted to read about the literal bottom of the pop culture barrel, I

Somewhow I don't think this is what ZODIAC MOTHERFUCKER is referring to when he talks about OWNAGE

You just described most of the top ten lists by so called "film buffs" on IMDB.
(and many of the top 100 lists have a handful of foreign film at best). It always bothers me when I see it. Some of them seemed to have simply forgoten other countries produce films but, unfortunately, a large number, are people who simply

Here are but three of mine…
