I wish Randy wasn't such a caricature. Make him small town or dumb, but not both to the max. It gets tiresome and derails the flow of the show.

At least with his ex coming around, we know that he's not going anywhere yet and they can keep filling in some of the character as they seem to have been doing more in the past couple weeks. Early in the season, they gave us nothing.

I don't even think it is a matter of romance. I think they are a strong pair comedy-wise and I think you could have had another season of them together fairly easily. It concerns me that the writers/show-runners gave up on it so early. It didn't feel natural or right.

Yep, the Jeff-Britta wedding will be the Community movie. (6th season notwithstanding)
