Though I was a bit jarred by the lack of Korra in these two episodes, I'm not complaining about episodes focusing on the Gaang's children either. That fight with Lin and Su practically got me foaming like Foaming Mouth Guy. As the youngest daughter with an older sister who's always shouldered a lot of responsibility,

Yes, I don't think the creators would go that route. Their history when it comes to treating female characters is proof that they will not go with such a cliche and tired angle. Besides, pretty sure Lin said, "Five kids, what a nightmare." Agreed, Lin. Not much of a kid-lover myself.

How awesome was that scene between Tenzin, Korra, and Lin where Korra flat-out refused to return to Republic City when Lin told her to? Precious girl is so done with older people telling her what to do. She'll make her own decisions and mistakes and she will learn from them, and all of this will only make her a great

I wonder why Toph disapproved of Su's choices. Sounds like Su's teenage years mimicked Toph's adventures with the Gaang during the Hundred Years War, so I don't know what she could have possibly disapproved about that.

Like her daughter Su said, "People change."
I wouldn't say it made no sense, given that Toph and Iroh had many enlightening conversations over tea. Those small character moments from ATLA are really quite meaningful. Over the years till Iroh passed away, he must have influenced Toph in some way spiritually.

"Airbending otaku." I can't stop laughing. How about airbending weeaboo? Either way, Zaheer clearly has a thing for Guru Lahima.

I agree, I hope they don't keep pushing the fact that Lin is single and childless as a flaw that she needs to work on. One of the reasons I love Lin (besides being the daughter of my favorite character from ATLA) is because she represents what a lot of women feel regarding their own lives: if they put career over love

This season is shaping up to be my favorite one in the entire series so far. We've moved past love triangle drama and Republic City and are now moving on to triple times the badass action sequences, complex character dynamics, engaging storylines, ambiguous but ruthless villains, and so much more that I know they have

"I'm Jeannie Gold, wedding planner extraordinaire!"
*orange slips out from his chest*
"…and a survivor." *pins pink ribbon*

I looked at it as Hayley being prone to hypocrisy just as much as Stan, claiming to want to help refugees then bailing when she realizes she has to do that for more than a day, and there's been a lot of episodes since the early days that showcases Hayley being mostly talk and little action. Look at 4x17 "Every Which

No, I don't think they established that she's a vegetarian. The first thing that comes to my mind regarding her diet is the episode, "Camp Refoogee," where Hayley joins Stan in Africa to help the refugees for the day, but upon learning that they'd be staying a few weeks for summer camp, she hangs out at the U.N.

Yeah, a "honeymourn" seems like something we should all be taking now that American Dad! is no longer on FOX.

Oh my gosh, you reminded me of Mason againnnnnn…Probably going to have face-related phobias from now on. Thanks, AD! and Hannibal.

I totally missed that because I was so focused on their air hockey game, thinking, "I wonder how they animated that." The animation was so good.

THAT WAS STILL RACHAEL?! Wow, what a talented woman.

Well, Snot kind of looked like a woman, so…

I love that they went back to that well of homoerotic potential in Steve and Snot's relationship, and made it canon in an alternate universe.

I like Matt too, though it's not surprising because I usually end up liking all of the one-off characters this show introduces and eventually kills off. I get attached and they get killed off, classic American Dad!

That was really, really great. The start of the episode already made me laugh out loud because of the sultan's Steve-shaped ruby. Stan was definitely the VIP of one-liners last night and I'm glad everyone had parts to play in this episode. It's crazy how much I've grown to love Jeff's character. Truly a testament to

Made even better when Roger praised her and said that she's going to do great things because sure, he could have called her an ungrateful bitch for choosing to go back to school, which wouldn't be contradictory to Roger's personality, but instead he had nothing but nice things to say about his former bullet intern.
