That is true. He was a lot more likeable when he wasn't stropping constantly.

Yeah, this. I was about ready to react negatively to the "weed = full on trip" that I thought Mad Men was better than, until we saw Don spluttering back to life on the side of the pool. I'll read those hallucinations as oxygen deprivation- rather than drug-related.

I think part of the problem is the acting. As far as I'm concerned, Robb's performance has just been awful from start to finish. I've never been a fan of boring, brooding characters (see: Connor in Angel, as compared to the smug glee of Pete Campbell), and I don't think Robb or Jon Snow have anywhere near the acting

I gotta say - THRILLED Robb is dead. He absolutely dragged the show down. In fact, this episode was based around all of my least favourite characters. Now all you need to do is wipe out Sam, Jon Snow and Bran and I'll be in hog heaven.

It's funny with De Niro, because his performance in Silver Linings Playbook shows he hasn't truly LOST it; he just can't be bothered at all most of the time. It must be frustrating to be his director on a movie where he's clearly phoning it in. Like "I know he's got the talent, he's just decided not to use it".

This is one of those things where I'm glad that it's happening but I wouldn't want to see it.

He performs a 7-8 hour version of it every night, too.

So funny. I love the frat guy being so thrilled with the drawing of him as a date rapist.

I don't think I'd be exaggerating to say this is one of the funniest TV shows I've ever seen. I'm a pretty easy laugh when I like a show, but I don't think Ive laughed this hard or consistently since Eastbound and Down or the UK Office. Bits like the increasingly complex pig video, the denouement of the Haunted House,

I feel like a review of an album should talk about the music a bit more. I know Tyler's public persona and controversial elements are always going to be a big part of any article, but this review pretty much completely avoids any discussion of the album's actual content.

"Were you still recording sound when we turned our mics off?", Pam asks Brian the boom operator, whose sole job was holding a microphone.

But it's such a killer song! They couldn't just air drum along until it gets to one of the long instrumental bits and grumble then??

What's this "mom" business?!

God damn if Colt breathing out his last cigarette wasn't the coolest shit I've seen all year. The Colt/Tim sub plot has been one of the best things TV's had to offer lately. I'd say I wish there'd been more, but it was so good I worry any more would ruin it somehow. Really liked Ron Eldard's performance throughout.

I'm genuinely frightened. I can't even begin to explain how mad I'd be if the ending of Breaking Bad got ruined for me.

This article kind of hinges on the notion that directing is just "the use of the camera", which it… isn't. Quiz Show may not have the visual flair or confidence of a Pulp Fiction, say, but that's not what makes it a quality film. Redford is clearly an actor's director, and gets career-best work out of Fiennes (who I'm

God damn if that wasn't the TV episode of the year so far. That was a straight up masterclass in suspense, pacing, structure and so forth. As Noel says, an episode that could've gone on and on.

Is anyone watching Nathan For You on Comedy Central? Funniest thing I've seen in some while.
