Boo-urns.
Boo-urns.
No, it's goons, she said in Mr. Burns's goons' voice.
As a 1/4 Scotswoman who likes to laugh at herself, that joke would have been funnier if Willie had been an elephant who tried to headbutt Homer like Stampy did. It would have been funnier because it would have been more accurate. For both elephants and Scotsmen.
Will we at least have the Horn of Eld next time?
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Simpsons Classic should be Seasons 1-10. Seasons 11-15 should be Simpsons Presentable. Seasons 16-20 should be Simpsons Gruesome. After that they should just be called Simpsons, much as modern-day AV Club Simpsons episode reviews already are.
Walt's arrogance made him think the Nazis would listen to him. What he should have done is said to Jack 'Don't come, because my family is here'. Then, he should immediately have said to Hank, 'Okay arrest me, but let's get out of here very quickly, because when I thought it was just Jesse here I called the neo-Nazi…
What a ridiculous thing to say. Brian means Norris/Paul.
The American audience. The UK lottery only has 49 numbers.
Jesse killed the fly.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: up to the end of Season 10 should be called 'Classic'. Seasons 10 through 15 should be called 'Presentable'. After that, they should just be called 'Simpsons', much as AV Club reviews of modern Simpsons episodes already are.
That copout ending was nowhere near as funny as the 'Hey everybody! Surf's up!' copout ending.
That's what you get for not mailing to the Chimp.
CAPITOLISOM
In America, first you get the power, then you get the British swear words, then you get the sexual partner of your choice gender. It's sort of funny how the word 'wankers' can be seen by Americans as a funny, silly little word worthy of a kid-friendly animation programme, when in Britain it's on a par with the word…
I'd love it if someone who was deposed from office then re-elected gave the victory speech 'It's so gratifying to leave you wallowing in the mess you've made, you're screwed, thank you, bye'. One of the best things about that sentence is that it is one sentence - Patterson wants to make sure all of its points are part…
Perhaps Companies A through L are like school houses such as Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin (or at my school Magdalen, Newton, Tennyson and Lumley). It's a common practice at British schools to have a house which contains students from every year. We also had house assemblies every once in a while.
It's all down to SHOUTING! BAAARP!
I was just thinking that.
It doesn't lose me too much sleep to know that I suck in the estimation of a person obnoxious enough to personally insult someone for disliking a TV show episode. Frankly I'd be disturbed if a person like that told me I was a pillar of the community, so thank you.
Yet another reason not to have cancelled Happy Endings.
