Yeah, put me in the "it doesn't work for me" camp.

To respond to the points you're bringing up:

Yes, why yes I would.

Thanks, cheers!, and see you around these parts when Episode VIII comes out, I look forward to seeing how our friend Luke Skywalker is doing :)

Joseph Stalin and the USSR also played a decisive role in defeating Hitler and the Nazis, but that does not put them above criticism. Stalin and his USSR also formed a totalitarian state and a number of satellites, at enormous cost to human life and human rights.

I hear what you are saying about how it's giving us the perspective of the people who are not at the elite level, and it shows the cost., etc.. That makes sense and I get it, but I still have critiques of the film on a number of levels that I've expanded upon above in my response to "Hardcore Henry V".

First of all, "how the world operates" is very complex and multifaceted, it involves beauty and pain, and brutality and kindness. Even something like the Amazon river watershed and ecosystem is fantastically complex, and involves both organisms that eat each other, as well as systems that mutually benefit and support

I have to say that I felt like Rogue One was upsetting. Enough people have died this year that watching a suicide mission is not helpful as entertainment.

What I found jarring was the Bon Iver-y instrumental music they played in the video while he was reciting the poem.

This article completely ignores the most blatant racism of the Star Wars series: racial caricatures and "accents" in the prequels.

I completely disagree with the characterization of Blood on the Tracks being a temper tantrum and a pity party. "Tangled Up in Blue" "A Simple Twist of Fate" "Meet Me in the Morning" "Shelter from the Storm" "Buckets of Rain", "If You See Her, Say Hello" etc., I hear much more tenderness than anger.

I feel like it's important to question how our fictional mass media, like movies, TV and comics, present the locations where they are set, when they use real cities and towns.

Hi everyone,

This guy is trying to critique other artists as racist, yet he says some things that come across as very condescending and stereotyping of African-American people and artists.

I need to make a correction here.
