It's funny because the accident wasn't too serious, but it could have been worse. And this was with a top star of the movie where I'm sure extra care was taken to ensure his safety. Examining the facts in court to verify all was good and proper is the right action to take.

The back half is the best half, but to each their own. To me, the message that institutionalized, cold, "for the greater good" evil is more horrific and disturbing than the bloody, psycho mess that starts the movie was a welcome change in a horror movie.
