Isn't revealing the conspiracy in just one universe (the wife's one, if I have my colour palate straight) telling us which reality is real.  This reveal came outside of Michael's view, so it implies it is actually real.

Is the show's lingering on Sophia's search its way of making the audience complicit in abandoning the search?  As we grow more frustrated with this stalling, we're moving from Rick's camp to Shane's camp.  Is it just that the show is too clever?
