The ending gets me every time, absolutely love it. Up there with Blackadder Goes Forth for me.

Beaten to my comment by two minutes. That's what I get for putting on my posting fedora first.

People seemed to really jump on the AMC bandwagon with the 1-2 punch of Breaking Bad and Mad Men, assuming that was AMCs new level of quality. Turns out  the bandwagon was really premature.

I'm pretty sure even new viewers know about the *HUGE SPOILERS*

Nothing much to add other than I completely agree. Aside from Game of Thrones reviews, the B5 writeups are my *must* read on this site. B5 was one of my favorite shows growing up, and I loved being able to relive it all over again (even if I didn't always comment).

I was still very young when I first saw this episode, but I remember pumping my fist as the Vorlons jumped the Shadows. It was the epitome of a "here comes the cavalry" type moment and a real "Fuck yeah!" type moment that the anti-Shadow forces really needed. Franke's music during the scene is great, too

I agree with you and the two earlier replies - I actually like Don too…him and Sloane. I'm much more interested in seeing them have good things happen to them (whether they actually get together or not) and I actively dislike Jim and Maggie - both as separate characters and as a designated couple.

Also spawning a great blooper

That's why I love the scene of the Narn charging, the conflicting emotions I feel. It's beautiful, terrible, horrifying and inspiring all at once and for various reasons.

I was available!

Heh, I'm just glad I'm not the only one waiting

I should ask my relative who's a B5 fan about that connection (I'm half-Greek, so opa! indeed)

I don't remember seeing him in the preview but I'm guessing we'll see him at least briefly to fully reveal who is torturing him (although there have been a lot of hints in that regards for non-readers), and possibly to get his reaction to the RW/Robb's death

Well…a lot of them get taken out in the initial attack (crossbow bolts flying everywhere, getting jumped from all sides), I can't really fault them for that. I could be misinterpreting the scene, but I thought it was implied there *was* some resistance, since the remaining Northerners in the room aren't finished off

I actually *really* liked that. No moral victories. No "At least we got X Freys". No forlorn/doomed heroics. Just a cold, efficient, utterly ruthless slaughter of Robb, Cat, Talisa, Greywind and the Stark loyalists.

*SPOILERS* (minor)

@Darling of the City Fathers  Is he really a nice guy? He was spying on her and in on a plot to have her killed until the last minute…and at least some of his motivation for helping her is simply that he wants to have sex with her.

Knowing what was coming (other than the horrific stabbing of Talisa)….didn't help at all.  Utterly gutted, years after first reading this.

Sorry, poorly phrased. I meant that Jorah is watching Dany becoming infatuated with Daario; in his little dreamworld she's supposed to fall in love with him.

Re: Daario. While I think there definitely was the intent to show that Dany does have eyes for him, I think the scene was really more about Jorah seeing his little world falling apart around him. First, Barristan takes over the "wise old mentor" role, then Grey Worm starts moving in on "soldier" stuff, now Daario is
