Agreed. But no other song comes even close to "Quiet As A Mouse." I checked them out because of that song and I was definitely surprised how lower-keyish they are.

I think this Marcel video is the only Slate related thing I've liked.

I really liked Hoobastank's first record in 7th grade, but when "The Reason" came out I turned away vehemently. The singer sucked balls. I saw them live on TV and he couldn't hit the high notes so he'd just hold the mic out to the crowd singing.

I think this has happened before, but Anywhere I Lay and I are the same person.

I saw it at a screening this week. Rabin is right, this movie should be terrible but it's fun. People want a Superbad knockoff but when I watched that again, Jonah Hill terribly unlikable. Every kid in this movie is charming and not gratingly a screenwriter's caricature. They feel real.
