Yeah, I think you're right.
Yeah, I think you're right.
Yikes. All I said was that while I found her attractive before, I think she looks better now that she's lost some weight. That's it. Are you the ghost of The Real World LA, are are you really this uptight? I thought this hysterical PC fad ended in the '90s.
Yes, men are attracted to women, how awful. Yawn.
Yup, saw this coming.
OK, I'm just going to put this out there: She is one woman that is drastically affected by weight loss. Chubby Penny was cute; skinny Penny is smokin', smokin' hot.
@avclub-85b0faa88b92483cbe957df7eb9602cd:disqus I approve this message. Great story. I think the moral of this story is don't limit yourself to one kind of music to maintain an image—you miss out on a lot that way. I (obviously) love the Dead Boys and the entire GBGBs-era punk scene, but if I'm hiking through the…
Wasn't that band Hugo Largo all basses?
As Matthew Sweet once said, be careful what you release because your worst song will be your biggest hit. Yep. You aren't really judging the entire catalog of REM on that song, are you?

14-year-old me and my friends probably watched that movie 100 times. And I mean literally 100 times, start to finish. That and "The Decline of Western Civilization" (and "Yessongs" for some reason) were pretty much all we watched for two years.
Yeah, she is really charming. I saw them when the got back together as Throwing Muses a few years back and really enjoyed her banter.
God, "Mexican Women" (drool, swoon). How did a bunch of kids in their early 20s kids come up with music that intense and nuanced? It just boggles the mind. The early, tragically titled Fat Skier (sic) is also worth seeking out—an absolute tour de force.
Give it to me, baybay! UH-HUH UH-HAH!
That Straightjacket Fits song was pretty killer as well. That was one of the better '90s comps, IMO.
I think it was also Sublime's finest moment; "Hong Kong Phooey" was the song they were born to play.
Actually, that makes me feel much better about it.
