'I Love Livin' In The City' by Fear.Or 'Rhapsody In Blue' by Gershwin.
Ageed, and I'm not really a boxing fan.HBO's 'Thrilla in Manilla' from earlier this year, is just amazing. As is Assault in the Ring….fucking sad.
I just watched The Amazing Mr. No Legs for the first time a few months back, and one word…Amazing.A few of those I gotta see, like Water Power, Blood Sucking Freaks?
Pick up your remote, because I'm sure 'Moon Over Parador' is on cable right now.
Speaking of guitar, just listening to some Mastodon and thinking, man, the duel lead bands, records, tracks…you hear it less and less.
Derek and the Dominos
Skynyrd
Allman Brothers
Thin Lizzy
Wishbone Ash
Maiden
Priest
Foo Fighters
QOTSA
Agreed, and anything by Michael Brook and the use of the Infinite Guitar.
Colbalt Blue, Night Song, etc.
The Hellstrom Chronicle….scared the shit out of me as a kid.
Do You Remember Rock 'n' Roll Radio? by The Ramones.
Yeah, Odds Against Tomorrow is amazing.Great direction by Robert Wise, before he started phoning it in.
Not just revisionist Westerns
but the more serious, more existential, darker, mind fuck-acid westerns, specifically from the late 60's, early 70's.I could watch those all day.
Yeah, handclapping on a snare hit, or doubled up with finger snaps, forget about it.
I love Alan Parker, but you know what the original film and this film don't have?
That's right, Lee Fucking Ving.
Totally.Hilarious, everytime the film is mentioned, that's the only scene I think of.Jon 'Lazlo Hollyfeld ' Gries, solid actor, that guys old man directed some of the best TV films of all time.
Just like his buddy Kevin Spacey….Spacey is no longer the smartest guy in the room, now he's the gayest and the smartest.
Moroder was the man, just look at him."Sweet stash bro"

When did this guy turn into Rupert Murdoch meets Robert Stigwood?Didn't he try his very own Dreamwork's Project Greenlight bullshit on NBC, what was that called?
Space Truckers and Due South, everyone knows that.
Tom, you are so right about that, I saw Love and his henchmen a few years back….it was fucking brutal.
You know, I've seen the Stones, I've seen the Who, and I have seen one of those Oldies tours, down at what was a local Italian Hall or something?…and I'm not kidding when I say I'd rather see The Fleetwoods or The Del-Vikings again over the Stones.I had a better time there than I did at Pitchfork fest this summer.
