again, I agree, but I don't think that Ben Kingsley is necessarily acting douchey.  Aloof, sure.  But can you really blame him for not wanting to hang out with Little Carmine or Christopher, let alone star in their shitty movie?

I do agree with that, mostly.  I think it also tries to incorporate "inside baseball" type humour which really isn't that interesting to people who aren't in the industry.
