yeah the second one was great but they really blew it with the half-assed "to be continued" ending.  So my nod goes to Part I, which is great the whole way through.

is the Office really close to cancellation?  I don't really keep up with ratings, except for what I see on this site, but isn't it still one of NBC's most highly rated shows?

well they do have to dedicate at least 6 nights a week to American Idol so it's hard to find room for other shows and stuff.

yeah it doesn't surprise me either that it moved a million copies.  Hard rock and metal fans are surprisingly loyal, and i bet it did pretty well overseas too.  People in other countries generally aren't quite as trend-hoppy as we are and still listen to a lot of shit that's gone out of style over here.

I think i could probably make it through the TLC album without wanting to put a bullet in my brain.

yeah I agree it's not a great vocal performance, but as others have pointed out, it's great compared to those last Winehouse performances and certainly preferable to the generic prefab popstars like Gaga or Ashley Simpson or whatever..

normally i can't stand Kevin, but he was actually pretty funny tonight.  It helped a lot that they really dialed down the dumb and had him behave somewhat like a real person would.
