yes I just rewatched it earlier this year… I realize there is plenty of other stuff going on in those 5 or 6 episodes but I still think it goes on too long.

yeah personally I didn't find it any more "disgusting" than the Ralphie and Janice stuff… but it did go on for too long, and the Morgan Spurlock guy just wasn't that interesting, though I do think the actor who played Vito did a decent job.

i agree.  as a poet, not so great.  as a rock lyricist, just about perfect, in that he wrote lyrics that sound cool if you don't think about them too hard.

NFL = Two and a Half Men

I love the Searchers.  Another great one where Wayne plays more of the anti-hero role is Red River.  Very similar character in that he's basically an unrelenting asshole the entire movie, but still the protagonist.

speaking of… why is the AV club so dismissive of college football, but then they're all up on the nuts of the NFL?  What's up with that?

that was the only NCAA basketball game I watched last season, and if that game was representative.. then I sure wasn't missing much.
