this article is really dismissive, and yeah I know, that's what you guys do around here, but their first album is actually pretty great (and no, not a failed firsties, I don't do that lame shit).  But seriously, check it out if you're a reggae fan at all.. it's not like their poppier stuff from the 90's, it does get

now they really do actually have to fill out a UB40.

the only time I ever saw a Krystal Burger was in the Atlanta airport, and I gotta concur they were disgustingly delicious.  Plus the counter girls were flirtacious.  So win for the airport food service.

can we rastafy Gucci Pucci by about 10 % or so?

so being at the library doesn't count as a social situation?

well… i never heard of a rapper with a cough before.

is it wrong to ask what the fuck a pucci is?

i don't agree about music not evolving any more.. but i think it's fair to say that it's certainly a lot less interesting and innovative than it was even 10 years ago.

seriously?  dubstep is freakin huge in Texas.

yeah, nailed it.  Pawnee is pretty much the non-cartoon version of Springfield.  I"m sure if you logic-nazis wrote a comedy show it would be hilarious.  But the criticism still stands for the Office since they were at one time going for a more realistic portrayal of the workplace.

I agree. I've enjoyed this season a lot more than last season so far.  I liked this episode much better than that horrible Christening episode.  And also, no DeAngelo Vickers.

yeah the book was totally unrealistic and stupid, but dammit I thought Dwight's closing ceremony was unironically awesome.  Would have been better if it was a bit darker out though.

Yeah that band has done pretty well for themselves considering that I don't think anyone, anywhere has ever purchased one of their albums.

hmm… i'll have to listen for that next time (with "Lunatic Fringe", not with "Shine"… fuck that song).  The only thing musically I recall off hand is the super-80's in-your-face keyboard riff.

one thing I never picked up on until a few months ago was the guy that sings that song also did the classic rock staple "Lunatic Fringe" back in the 80's, with Red Rider, I believe.

also I love the Big Wheel scene.  Don't agree with Todd at all on that.  One of the best end scenes they did.

i'm pretty sure he's the second.   I've watched some of the extras and commentaries with Iler and honestly, the dude seems like a dumbass.  To his credit though, he does have good chemistry with the other cast members, and he reacts well to them.  For example, there is a commentary track with Iler and Jamie-Lynn

Yeah I'm with you, I can't possibly imagine my friends doing something like that.  But that's probably because my friends aren't douchebags.

this post is pretty much a perfect summation of why i have no desire to work in academia.
