I was just talking about this to my friend, and I think I've found it: LoK, even in this exquisite season, is a lot less fun. I mean, I love the jokes when they come up, but the show's never had an episode like The King of Omashu or Nightmares and Daydreams where the main premise is the characters just dicking around.

Not that I'm defending Nick (what Korra fan in their right mind would), but the Avatar seasons have always had multi-part finales.
If they go that way, it won't be the first time Avatar Korra gets involved in a love triangle.
