Minor quibble; Nina isn't compromised by Olivia in this episode. Olivia's call for help actually saves Nina for a little while, since the Observers were heading to interrogate her anyway. What finally compromised her was Nina leaving the lab and calling Olivia.

I'd agree that Palin seems to be the warmest personality in the group, but after Spamalot I went back and examined Idle's contributions to Python a bit more closely. His songs in particular tend to be joyous and inclusive.

I think Idle gets a really bad rap because of how money-hungry he is, but I think he's definitely the warmest person in that bunch. If you really look at his sellouts, like Spamalot, there does seem to be a sincere effort to open Python up and invite the fans to become a part of the legacy.

Respectfully Disagree
Man, I loved this episode. It disappointed me that most of the episode was given to mere parody, but I forgave it because the one-liners and voice work was so top notch. I've watched the episode twice now and laughed out loud several times each viewing. I think you should probably give this

I DVRd it, and just watched it. I have travelled back in time to say that the movie was good, but man o man was McMahon's narration awful.

Inside
I'm looking forward to the entry on Inside. My friend and his wife recommended it, specifically calling it the best horror film in years. I couldn't stand it. Not that I found it too gross, it just struck me as amateurishly unpleasant for no purpose. I haven't heard from anyone who liked it who was able to

According to Newsarama all of the writers on the affected titles had been told to wrap things up, or extend storylines to conclude around the time of this reboot. The current Superman story got extended two issues. And a few of the books will be shipping twice in August just to give writers an extra issue to wrap

Disappearing Pirate
Can anyone tell me what happened to the Pirate that Toby cut in the powder room? After whatsisname ran off and got killed, it cut back to the powder room and I never noticed that guy again. Did his 'death' somehow get cut out?

go to bigozine2.com, which offers track by track downloads. It's a pretty safe site I use a lot. Along the left side of the screen, a bit down the page.

Karl
Did anyone else read the bit about the tree in the voice of Karl Pilkington? It sounded so exactly like something he would say.

Contiguous US?
I posted this yesterday, but it apparently didn't take. I was wondering if these AVC contests were open only to the continental US, or if Alaskan readers were welcome to try as well.

I actually bought this a few years back on one of those shitty grey-market DVDs. Picked up The Gate during the same purchase from the same company. This is by no means great, and not even really good, but I have some pretty positive childhood associations, and it's still a good movie to kinda zone out to.

Zack!
I know this isn't really an appropriate place to ask, but I figure asking on a recent article might get your attention.

Posthumous Releases
I read an interview with Rubin shortly after Johnny's death, and he said that during their final American Recordings sessions they had recorded enough material for 4 more albums. And from what I understand Unearthed was all stuff from previous sessions. So, yeah, apparently Rubin has enough

Silver Lining
Leno's final show in primetime is going to be on my birthday. If I ignore the fact that this will probably leave Conan out in the cold, it's a very good birthday gift indeed.

Urgh
As an Alaskan I am absolutely disgusted by this. On a national(or international) level you've really only scratched the surface in regards to her absolute stupidity and phoniness. I'm both saddened and a little bit heartened to see her shtick catch on with retards across the country. Cause hey, we aren't alone

Twin Peaks
Twice I went to the annual Twin Peaks fest in washington and toured all the filming sites. Got to hang out with Little Michael J. Anderson for a few days. That man enjoys his drugs.

And the mentor is named Rupert? That's a bit of an obvious theft as well.
