If anybody likes Shakespeare and has Netflix I'd recommend watching "Playing Shakespeare" (1982).  John Barton, a director for the Royal Shakespeare Company, discusses several problems in performing Shakespeare using performers (including Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Ben Kingsley, and Judi Dench)  for examples.
