I was shouting when Skylar was messing with the dental floss.  I was hoping for a garroting

Be careful if you get him pissed
He'll smite you with metaphor fists
Doin' all he can
He's just a man
A warrior of words taking a stand

I'm imaging The Squeak Shall Inherit will be about the chipmunk uprising led, of course, by Alvin.  It'd would open like a regular Chipmunk movie with the boys singing, and then Alvin doing something and getting yelled at.  Except this time there would be no wisecracks, no comic scrambling away.  Instead Alvin would

I'm thinking they might run some parallels with Ted's business.  An old family firm gets into trouble, what with the downturn and all, and the scion does what he has to to keep the business afloat, damn the laws.  Now that I think of it, that parallels nicely with Walt as well.

I got the feeling that Mike never had direct control over the money; he just told Fring to put it in his granddaughter's name, preparing for his, considering the position, likely death.

There's been a big shift since the last two (three?) episodes of season 4.  People here have been saying pulpy but I'd say more archetypal, though that may be a bit tomato-tomatoh.  Overall, the story has been shifting to larger and larger conflicts, and the characterization has to get larger to keep up.

That's got to be a recording, they've never presented a phone call like that before.  But it being tapped?  That's harder to say.  If the Wire has shown us anything, it's that getting a tap a on cell phone is hard as hell to get.  And just a week after the shit went down?  Unlikely.  It's possibly just stylistic, but

Not totally related, but first I got to give my love to Rosamond's crazy eyes.  It doesn't really matter to her who's affected by her machinations, as long as she's got machinations to do.

Lady Grantham: What the shit is this?  Come with me at once so I may bitch you out properly.
Mrs. Crawley: Pfft.  Can't tell me what to do…
Lady Grantham:  (Glare. Of. Death.)
Me: (Yelling at the T.V.)  Ya know Crawley, in this situation you can't do anything but say "Of course"
Mrs. Crawley:  Of course.
Me: There ya go.
