As I said in an above thread, that fight is too important to the development of the characters' bond.

A Serious Man became one of my favorite Coen Bros movie after the first time I saw it. I loved it so much I went back to see it again in the theater, and decided it was one of my favorite movies of all time.

"She Said She Said" may have been just as thematically appropriate & weird enough to cause Don to turn it off.

For a second before Don played it, I thought the song would be "For No One" & it was Megan's way of sending him a message.

How many times do I have to tell you: Neko is Ygritte, not Melisandre!

But long necks were considered hot in the Middle Ages. So it's it completely appropriate.

She looks kind of Chaplinesque to me. Give her a hat, a cane & a funny little mustache and watch her go…

You may be right - I was going by IMDB, which is of course by no means infallible.

I'm surprised that no one noticed that Alexis Denisof was credited as "the Other", i.e. Thanos.

I don't hate "Everybody Hurts" but I've always thought it was overrated. To me, it sounds like it's trying to be "Rock 'n' Roll Suicide" and not succeeding.

Y'all are new to the interwebs, huh?

In the last few months Tobias has expressed disbelief that anyone would listen to Johnny Greenwood's score for There Will Be Blood outside of the context of the movie and called one of Beethoven's greatest masterpieces "drippy".

Great. An article about how rich kids who were mad at their daddies took over punk.

Levon is a national fucking treasure.

Actually I saw Neko as Ygritte.

I thought Shireen was kind of important too because the wildlings were sure she was a zombie.

how sorceress get pragnent?

Yeah, you're right, the sequencing on those rock (tho I think "Drive" is the only failed song on Automatic), but there's a thru-line about failed relationships in the songs I was referring to that always draws me in. And that probably says something about me.

Hey, Buzz! Suck up to Warren a little bit more, and he'll come to your town and pop your ass cherry for ya!

Tho I agree with Hyden on "Binky" - the 2nd best song on a tremendously underrated album. That and "Leave" are definitely in the competition for my top 10 R.E.M. songs.
