A friend at work was telling me about SAGN, and I went straight to Netflix after I looked it up and learned IT WAS DIRECTED BY PAUL NEWMAN AND STARRED NEWMAN AND HENRY FONDA.

But Mr Waits, as someone mentions below, WHY does the Mayor want to turn into a big snake? What's his plan then? This really makes no sense either, but because the character is so well-developed, you don't really worry about it too much. The nitpicking and all the WHYs kicks in when the writers haven't done their jobs…
